The Russian rouble made the only material move against the lari in the observations through 24 October: 100 roubles were worth 3.2237 GEL, up 0.1302 GEL from 3.0935 GEL on 17 October. The rouble rose in every session after 21 October.

Everything else was quiet. The US dollar eased in each session shown, from 2.5989 GEL on 14 October to 2.5971 GEL on 24 October, a drift of 0.0018 GEL. The euro finished at 2.9090 GEL, 0.0184 below its 17 October level of 2.9274 GEL, the one spike in the window. The Turkish lira slipped to 0.0522 GEL from 0.0526 GEL on 14 October, 1000 Armenian dram firmed to 7.1880 GEL from 7.1823 GEL on 17 October, and the Azerbaijani manat tracked the dollar at 1.5277 GEL.

For anyone settling in roubles the week's shift is large enough to matter; for dollar and euro exposure these figures change nothing. A US Federal Reserve rate decision falls on 28 October.
